CIT Aerospace has appointed Susan Geitzenauer as vice president, transactions. Geitzenauer was previously vice president and chief operating officer at Petters Aviation, where she was responsible for the company's Airbus corporate jet re-sale program and oversaw the part 135 charter operation. She has also worked with law firm Fafinski Mark & Johnson, where she was aviation transaction manager, and ILFC, where she was manager of contract administration.
Geitzenauer was a surprise entrant in Airfinance Journal's 2005 survey of rising stars amongst associates at aviation law firms, surprising given that she is not a lawyer. This was an advantage while...
