Boeing has announced that it is confident that it will book 500 7E7 orders before the first flight of the 7E7 in 2007. But is Boeing dreaming? Victoria Pennington spoke to the team behind the new aircraft.
Airbus may have dominated the news at Paris last year but this year Boeing is keen to steal the limelight at Farnborough with the 7E7 ? and it is off to a good start.
Boeing has already booked its largest ever launch order with ANA and signed up Air New Zealand, Blue Panorama and First Choice and Mike Bair, senior vice president, 7E7 programme, Boeing Commercial Airplanes is confident that there are more to come.
