Alafco half year profit down 25%

The Kuwaiti lessor’s first half figures are down on last year, but the company is confident it is realising its regional expansion plans.

Kuwaiti leasing company Alafco has posted a net profit of KWD3.2 million ($11 million) for the six months to the end of March 2009.
The figures represent a drop of a quarter on 2008’s first half profit of KWD4.3 million.
