Iata: 2009 Worst demand decline in history

Airlines are expected to lose $5.6 billion in 2010, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The International Air Transport Association (Iata) reported a 3.5% decline in international passenger demand for 2009 compared to 2008—the largest post-war decline. The industry is expected to lose $5.6 billion in 2010, says an Iata executive.
