The Hungarian airline, which is seeking new investors, has suspended an order for 30 Sukhoi Superjets.

Hungarian flag carrier Malev has suspended an order for 30 Sukhoi Superjets, as the government-owned airline concentrates on returning to profitability and finding new investors.

The carrier signed a letter of intent (LOI) for 30 of the Russian-manufactured SSJ100s in 2009, worth about $1 billion at list prices. The aircraft were scheduled to begin delivering from 2011 at a rate of six deliveries a year.
