Airbus is expecting less commercial aircraft orders in 2012 compared with 2011. The company announced today at a press conference in Hamburg that it expect orders for about 600 to 650 commercial jets.
Last year, the European manufacturer received 1,419firm orders, including 1,226 orders for the re-engined variant of the A320 � the A320neo. This figure discounts the order placed by American Airlines since it filed for Chapter 11.
